The power sector has been in the forefront of lightning up the India growth story. As the economy continues to surge ahead, electrification and electricity services have been expanding continuously to support the growth rate. The sector has moved from a mostly vertically integrated structure – with the state electricity boards (SEB) owning the generation, transmission and distribution businesses – to a more unbundled corporate structure.
Arissan Group has embarked upon its journey towards ‘Vision 5000’. Under this plan, the group aims to generate 5000MW capacity and is working relentlessly towards achieving its vision in the next few years. The group has signed a MoU with the Bihar government and is in process of setting up a 2*660MW coal based thermal power plant at Banka district in Bihar.
The group is highly committed towards its responsibility to the society and environment; therefore, understands the importance of developing alternate and eco friendly source of energy. We have a vision to establish presence in renewable power generation such as wind, gas, nuclear, solar, hydro etc. For this, the Group has taken up ‘Vision 500’ to foray into ‘Green Energy.’
